A bit late...but worth it!
Hello once again! Welcome back to the world of New Star! This is Newsletter #2. Thank you for subscribing! And welcome to our new subscribers! Can’t believe it’s already been a month. We have entered October which means Fall and Halloween season! If you’re looking for some costume ideas this year, may I humbly suggest dressing up as your favorite New Star character? The easiest would be Garbage Man, just slip on some old clothes, fashion a mask/cape out of a trash back and boom! You’re good to go. Or if you want more of a technical challenge then just build yourself an actual flying suit and be Blue Jay! Oops, I mean Scissortail. If you do dress up as any New Star character, please comment below with some pictures. We’d love to see them. Now on with the newsletter.

WHAT’S NEW/ANNOUNCEMENTS
We have a brand-new series to announcement, NEW STAR TEAM UP! This will be a series of shorter adventures depicting team ups between your favorite New Star characters. First is a big one…The full Mighty Boomers squad joints forces with the one and only Garbage Man! It’s the meeting we’ve longed to see. We’ve got a couple teaser pages for you down below. This first issue should be released around October 10th. We hope to get a release part/signing set up as well. Stay tuned for more updates!
Now I know what you’re thinking, what about Garbage Man #4 and The Mighty Boomers #4?? Due to a variety of events we’ve had to push release of those issues back a bit. But we’re still hard at work on them and will have more news for you all soon.

NEW STAR FUTURE
In addition to the Boomers, Garbage Man, and New Star Team Up, we have all sorts of other books and series in the works that will strengthen and broaden the New Star world. Let’s take a quick look at what’s on the horizon.

You ever been scared of the monsters under the bed? Or those lurking in the dark? Maybe the slimy being that lives in your closet?? Well, you no longer have to fear because the Strangers are here! Bringing together the legendary Moth Man, a marooned alien named Grey, a vampire named Fanger, and a possession-happy ghost named Under-Taker, the Strangers are out there protecting us from the paranormal, the supernatural, and the just plain weird.
Unearth
Take your classic private eye, give him the ability to see what dominates a person’s mind, and you have Unearth! Soon to be introduced in the pages of Garbage Man, this throwback hero will soon have his own wild adventure in New Star’s first graphic novel! It’s 100+ pages of noir action as Unearth tries to find a woman’s missing sister only to stumble into an earth-shattering conspiracy! It’s the Maltese Falcon meets Indiana Jones meets Tomb Raider! Coming soon!

Known Powers: Weather manipulation: rainfall, wind, sleet/ice, lightning
Weaknesses: Lightning shorts out upon submergence in water; direct physical blows
Threat Level: High
Notes: This suspect is affiliated with the Mighty Boomers metahuman team. Known associates include Spirit (case #22378), Roadrunner (case #22378), Brickton (case #32114), and Scissortail (case #31722). Suspect also appears to have some sort of history with the terrorist metahuman known as Twister (no complete MCA file/case). Family history is not known. Source of powers believed to be from some sort of accident.
